Since then his holidays have included trekking back to the UK overland, hitch-hiking around Europe, and taking his three children holidaying in royal castles, driving the west coast of America, exploring Vietnam, scuba diving on the Barrier Reef and exploring the countries of South America while indulging his passion for Argentine tango. Some years ago Martin had a 'sea change' and left behind the corporate world of publishing for to indulge his passion for travel. Tricia Bennett - Senior Consultant “My introduction to the travel industry started in a rather unorthodox way,” says Tricia, ““I was working as a PR officer when I was invited to join a travel agency - I was delighted””. Tricia had lived in the UK for the first ten years of her married life and had really enjoyed travelling in both the UK and Europe with her young family. Once she was part of the industry she made the most of the many opportunities to travel to more out of the way places, including the Himalayas, Bolivia, Peru, Africa and Burma. Her enthusiasm for travel is infectious. “Who could ever forget the colour of the stupas in Bagan [Burma] at sunset...shooting the rapids in Manila or para flying over the Bay of Siam?” she asks. Tricia really enjoys sharing her experiences and organising trips for clients to places she has been herself. She is currently planning a golf tour to Tasmania, after a recent delightful holiday in the Apple Isle. |
